ITF Technology
Challenges 2012

Following agreement at the recent ITF ATC, ITF is pleased to announce its technology challenges for 2012.

The technology challenges, which will begin as an ITF technology challenge workshop and result in the issue of a global call for proposals, will cover areas from subsurface, production, wells and subsea.

The technology challenges for 2012 are as follows:

Subsurface

• Unconventional Reservoir Characterisation (Road Map + Programme Definition)
  (13 March: Aberdeen)
• Unconventional Reservoir Characterisation (First Workshop)
  (26 June: Houston)
• Heavy Oil
  (27 May: Abu Dhabi)

Production (incl Subsea)

• Subsea Road Map Programme Definition, including:
  
  • Subsea Power
  • Subsea Extra Long Tie-Backs
  • Subsea Produced Water, Separation and Cleaning
  • Replacement of Value Actuators
    
  (6 September: Aberdeen)

Wells

• Downhole Pressure and Temperature Monitoring
  (17 May: London)
