ITF Host In-well Communications Theme Day

Operators across the globe require a full range of cost effective and reliable services that focus on well performance and operations. Oil and gas companies operate high value oil and gas wells that need services and products to measure, improve, control and process flow from these wells. A wide range of innovative technologies and services are needed to assist in the process of data acquisition.
The instrumentation of wells has to enhance a real-time data acquisition capability that enables engineers to manage the reservoir effectively and to optimise production. Having access to real-time data enables the early diagnosis of well production problems and allows remedial action to be taken.
Sponsored by BP, and with speakers from ITF member companies, this gathering of experts will allow the industry to identify the main challenges in this area and will help start the process towards finding better solutions.
The theme day is a limited attendence meeting and an opportunity for experts from operators, major service companies, SMEs and research and academic organisations to sample the ITF process at work and to be involved in the process which encourages interaction between industry end users and the technology development community both locally and globally.
