TTOM opens next call

By Editor | November 12, 2009

Supported by Scottish Enterprise and in partnership with ITF, ScotlandIS, Electronics Scotland and BIA Scotland, the TTOM (Technology Transfer Opportunity Mechanism) Awards are aimed at building relationships between SMEs and HEIs (Higher Education Institutes), and stimulating collaborative work that will lead to new products and processes to benefit the enterprises, institutions and the Scottish economy.

The main aim is to enable technology transfer projects, particularly with a cross-sectoral and inter-disciplinary focus. TTOM grants will be paid directly to eligible SME companies on a competitive basis, who will then contract with relevant research groups in higher education institutes to provide the assistance required.

Following the evaluation of the first call of applications, TTOM are pleased to announce the opening of their next call which closes at 5pm on Friday 29th January 2010.

More information on applying for a grant is available from the TTOM website: www.ttom.org.uk
