Global oil and gas organisation, the Industry Technology Facilitator (ITF), is offering up to 100% funding for innovative solutions which address the challenges of dealing with Produced Fluids Management.
ITF is calling on technology developers, academia and research centres to engage with oil and gas operator members and discuss the issue at a Technology Challenge Workshop (TCW) in Aberdeen on August 18.
The facilitated workshop will result in the issue of a global 'Call for Proposals' with up to 100% funding available and the innovator's retention of intellectual property rights for successful projects which takcle the required technology needs.
Neil Poxon, ITF Managing Director said: "Our members have identified produced fluids management as an ongoing international challenge that has a big impact on production outputs. This collaboration between operators and technology developers will kick-start the process of finding ground breaking solutions to this costly issue.
"I'd urge any organisations working in this field to come along and get involved as the discussions of the day will form a call for innovative technologies. Succesful proposals that address the identified technology needs will receive up to 100% funding from our members."
The Produced Fluids Management workshop takes place at Hilton Aberdeen Treetops on Wednesday 18 August.
